Important Health Considerations for Your Safety
In consideration of the use of the Provider’s facilities, and by attending the services offered at Studio2’s premises, the Client (in this Order Form referred to as you or your) agrees as follows:
(Devices): You specifically agree that the use of electronic devices whilst utilising the Services is not recommended as it does carry a level of risk. You acknowledge that use of devices is at your own risk.
(Risk Factors): You understand and acknowledge that the use of equipment, facilities and services provided by the Provider involves risk such as, but not limited to, the following which may result from the use of the facilities, from the activity itself, from the acts of others, or from the unavailability of emergency or emergency medical care: risk of property damage, bodily injury or death.
(Restriction on Use): You agree that you understand that you must not use hyperbaric oxygen therapy whilst having any of the following conditions, as this may be detrimental to your wellbeing:
Infectious disease, cold/flu symptoms, respiratory infection or fevers;
Eustachian tube dysfunction, ear issues and trouble equalising;
Optical issues or recent optic surgery;
Pneumothorax;
Hypertension exceeding 140/90 mmhg
Heart problems;
Severe COPD;
Severe untreated asthma;
Seizures;
Pregnancy;
Pacemakers;
Recent major dental work;
Flying within 24hrs
Recent Botox/Fillers
You agree that you have fully disclosed any physical concerns to the Provider prior to undertaking any hyperbaric oxygen therapy or any aspect of the Services. The extent permitted by law, you release the Provider from any responsibility for symptoms related to or which occur in connection with the Services.
(Assumption of Risk): You are fully aware of the risks and hazards connected with the use of the equipment and facilities. To the extent permitted by law, you assume all risks that arise out of the use of the facilities, the Services, the activity itself, the act of others, or the unavailability of emergency care, including but not limited to the risk factors described above.
(Acknowledgement of Policies and Procedures): You acknowledge having been provided with, and having had the opportunity to consider and review, all of the policies and procedures relating to the activities, facilities and/or equipment and the Services, and you understand that the safe and proper use of the facilities, equipment or participation in the activity is dependent upon carefully following such policies and procedures.
(Prerequisite Physical and Mental Health): You acknowledge that you have the requisite physical and mental health and abilities for the proper and safe use of the equipment and facilities and to participate in the activity itself and to use the Services. You warrant that you are not under the influence of any drugs, either recreational or prescription, which could cause panic, claustrophobia or otherwise interfere with any of the Services and the Provider’s property and safe use of its equipment and facilities. You agree that if you have any questions as to what skills, qualifications or training is necessary to properly use any of the Services and the Provider’s equipment or facility, or to participate in the activities contemplated by the Services, then you shall immediately direct such questions to the appropriate staff member on site. You are encouraged to have a physical examination prior to any and all participation in the Services. You confirm to the Provider that you have discussed the use of Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy with your Specialist or Doctor in regards to any of my health or medical concerns prior to commencing your first session.
(Emergency Treatment Consent): You, as a participant in the Services and the subject activities, hereby consent to medical treatment in a medical emergency where you are unable to consent to such treatment.
(Privacy): The Provider takes your privacy and security very seriously. When you create a user profile with us, book and appointment or make a purchase, the Provider may collect information about you, such as your name, email, credit card information, as well as any other information you provide in order to process the transaction. The information you provide is stored securely, never given to third parties, and credit card numbers are encrypted, using industry standard technology.
(Scheduling): You agree that if you make an appointment and subsequently cancel it with less than 24 hours notice, your session is non-refundable. Whilst the Provider cannot guarantee a refund, the Provider understands that life is fluid and will always do our best to work with its clients. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
(Arrival time): Late arrivals can be accepted up to 15 minutes after your start time. The Provider will endeavour to get you into the chamber as quickly as possible to enjoy a slightly shorter session. Any later than this and the session will be considered forfeited and non-refundable. In the event that you are unable to finish a commenced session, the session is considered non-refundable.
You agree and confirm that you understand and accept that booking a hyperbaric session at the Provider’s premises and you confirm that you agree with this ‘Contract’ (as that term is defined in the General Conditions).

Important Health Considerations for Your Safety
RED LIGHT THERAPY TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. GENERAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By booking or participating in Red Light Therapy (RLT) services provided by Studio2 HBOT, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions and Waiver.
Red Light Therapy is a non-invasive wellness modality intended to support general wellbeing, relaxation, recovery and skin health. It is not a substitute for medical care and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Participation is voluntary and use of the Red Light Therapy equipment is undertaken at your own risk, subject to your rights under applicable Australian law.
2. HEALTH AND SUITABILITY
You are responsible for providing Studio2 staff with relevant health information and for seeking appropriate medical advice where required.
You should consult your medical practitioner before using Red Light Therapy if you:
• Are pregnant
• Have a light sensitivity or photosensitive condition
• Are taking medications, supplements or using topical products that may increase sensitivity to light
• Have a serious medical condition or are currently under active medical care
• Have a history of seizures triggered by light exposure
• Have an active skin condition, unhealed or infected wound, recent procedure or other concern that may be affected by light exposure
• Are undergoing medical treatment, including cancer-related treatment protocols, unless approved by your treating practitioner
• Have recently undergone surgery, cosmetic procedures, laser treatment or injectable treatments
• Have any other condition that may affect your suitability for Red Light Therapy
If you are unsure whether a medication or topical product may cause photosensitivity, you should check with your practitioner before your sessions.
Studio2 HBOT and its staff do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment recommendations. Any information provided by Studio2 is general in nature and is not a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare practitioner.
3. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
By using the Red Light Therapy equipment, you acknowledge and agree that:
• Individual responses and results may vary
• You are responsible for disclosing relevant health conditions, medications, recent procedures and sensitivities to Studio2 staff
• You are responsible for monitoring your comfort and response throughout your session
• You will notify staff and discontinue the session immediately if you experience discomfort, skin irritation, dizziness, headache, visual discomfort, overheating or any other unexpected or adverse reaction
• You will follow all safety instructions, recommended usage guidelines and directions provided by Studio2 staff
• You will use any protective eyewear provided or required by Studio2 in accordance with staff instructions
• You will not use the equipment while under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs or any substance that may impair your judgement or ability to safely participate
• You will not adjust, interfere with or misuse the equipment
Studio2 staff reserve the right to shorten, postpone, discontinue or decline a session where they reasonably believe proceeding may be unsuitable or unsafe.
4. USE OF THE FACILITY AND EQUIPMENT
When attending Studio2 HBOT, you agree to:
• Use the facilities and equipment respectfully and safely
• Follow all directions provided by Studio2 staff
• Remain within the recommended session duration
• Avoid touching, adjusting or interfering with equipment unless instructed by staff
• Accept responsibility for damage caused through deliberate misuse, negligence or failure to follow instructions
• Respect the privacy, safety and comfort of other clients
For safety and security purposes, surveillance may be used within reception, entry and other common areas. Surveillance is not used in private treatment or changing areas.
5. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
You acknowledge that individual responses to Red Light Therapy vary and that participation may involve risks or temporary adverse effects, including skin redness or irritation, warmth, headache, dizziness, fatigue, eye discomfort or unexpected sensitivity.
You voluntarily accept the ordinary risks associated with participating in Red Light Therapy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio2 HBOT, its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for loss, injury, damage or adverse reactions arising from:
• Misuse of the Red Light Therapy equipment
• Failure to disclose relevant health information, medications, sensitivities or recent procedures
• Failure to follow staff directions, safety instructions or recommended usage guidelines
• A pre-existing medical condition or individual sensitivity
• Participation contrary to medical advice
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
6. BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS AND LATE CHANGES
All appointments are subject to availability.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests require at least 3 hours' notice.
Failure to attend an appointment or cancellation within the required notice period may result in the session being forfeited or a late cancellation fee being charged.
Studio2 HBOT reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service, or to reschedule or cancel an appointment, where reasonably necessary due to safety concerns, inappropriate conduct, policy breaches, equipment issues or other operational circumstances.
7. PREPARATION, HYGIENE AND SESSION ETIQUETTE
Clients are required to:
• Arrive with clean, dry skin and advise staff of any topical products applied before the session
• Remove any items where requested by Studio2 staff for safety or correct use of the equipment
• Use protective eyewear where provided or required and follow Studio2's eye-safety instructions
• Follow staff instructions regarding clothing, positioning, equipment use and session duration
• Advise staff immediately of any discomfort or unexpected reaction
• Maintain appropriate hygiene and respect the privacy and comfort of other clients
8. ACCEPTANCE AND CONSENT
By booking or participating in a Red Light Therapy session at Studio2 HBOT Applecross, you confirm that:
• You are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian
• The health information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
• You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, medications, sensitivities or recent procedures
• You have had the opportunity to ask questions before participating
• You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and Waiver
• You voluntarily consent to participating in Red Light Therapy
• You accept the ordinary risks associated with using the equipment
• You agree to follow Studio2 staff instructions and safety requirements
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Studio2 HBOT, its owners, employees and contractors from claims arising from your participation, except to the extent that liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
